• Assignment Review Options

• Teachers now have 4 Review options to select from in the Assign Modal and Edit Assignment screen.

     1. Students will be able to view which questions they answered correctly or incorrectly.

     1. Students will be able to view which questions they answered correctly or incorrectly.
     2. Students will be able to select Show Answers to view correct answers on questions answered incorrectly.

• View and Grade PDF Assignments
  • Teachers can now view and score students' PDF submissions on the Grading tab of the Grading screens.

• Teachers can also view assignment statistics for all students, included in the PDF assignment, on the Summary tab of the Grading screens.

• Final Score
  • On the Summary tab of the Grading screens, Teachers can now view the Original Score (points) earned by the student on an assignment and have the opportunity to add additional points to the score by editing the Final Score.
  • Important things to know:
    • The assignment must not be marked graded to be able to edit the Final Score. (If already marked graded, unselect the checkbox before editing the Final Score, then mark graded when finished.)
    • The Final Score is what will appear in the Gradebook and be displayed to students (if allowed).

• Selected Student Tab
  • This tab of the Grading screens provides teachers with the ability to view entire student assignment submissions.  Teachers will be able to view submitted answers for teacher-scored and auto-graded questions in the assignment.

• Gradebook Improvements - Student List
  • The Gradebook is now defaulted to sorting the list of students by last name.  Teachers can select the icon to have the student list sorted by first name instead. 

• Gradebook Improvements- Delete Assignments
  • Teachers can now delete digital assignments without a student submission. 
  • To delete an assignment, navigate to the Gradebook and select the assignment title.  Next select Delete from the pop-up menu. Then confirm your choice to delete the assignment by pressing Yes in the Delete Assignment pop-up.  

• Gradebook Improvements-Refresh Gradebook View
  • Teachers can refresh the Gradebook in view by selecting the  Refresh button to the left of the View options.

• My Assignments Widget Improvement
  • The My Assignments Widget now defaults to displaying all Open assignments.
  • Open assignments include assignments with a start date and time that has occurred and a due date and time or late submission date and time (if allowed) that has not occurred. 
  • Students can also use the Due Today or Due Tomorrow status to narrow down their list of assignments.

• PDF Assignments: Annotations and Highlights
  • Students can now complete, save and submit PDF types of assignments within the Gallopade Online Platform.

• Improved Auto-Saving of Student Work in Assignments
  • Students' work in digital assignments is saved when students navigate to another page of the resource, or when they select Overview, Save and Exit, or Submit as Completed.
     
• Multi-Select Questions Improvement
  • Students will now only receive the alert for the amount of answers choices allowed to be selected, for a multi-select question, when they try to select too many answer choices.

• Late Submissions
  • If the teacher allows students to turn in the assignment late, a late submission icon will appear on the assignment card after the end date and time occurs.

• Assignment Review
  • If the teacher allows students to review an assignment after submitting, students can now review after submitting and exiting the assignment. 
  • Students can access the review by selecting Review on the assignment card from the My Assignments Widget, My Assignments Screen, and Course View.
